Abstract FAQs

  • Do I have to register for the meeting if I submit an abstract?

    Yes. You must register for the meeting separately--this will not be done automatically. All poster presenters are required to register in advance. No one will be admitted to the poster area without an attendee badge. Registration prices will increase October 16. Prior to confirming travel arranges, please review timing and instructions to be sure you are available for poster setup, authors present timmes, and removal times.

  • Can I take photos or videos in the poster hall?

    For the first year ever, photography will be allowed in poster sessionsĀ only with the permission of the poster authors. If a presenting author does not want to permit photographs, this will be indicated on their poster with a 'no photos' sticker. Violations of this policy will result in removal from the session and possible revocation of meeting registration.

  • What size should my board be?

    The poster board is 4' x 8' with usable space being 44 7/8" x 90 7/8". AES does not specify a size for the poster itself, but it must fit within the size of the board.

  • Where can I have my poster printed?

    Click here for information on printing. All costs are the responsibility of the party who contracts with the printing service. AES assumes no financial responsibility.
