A Message to the AES Community from William D. Gaillard, MD, President of the American Epilepsy Society

William Davis Gaillard, MD

Planning is moving forward for a top-notch, in-person AES Annual Meeting in December 2020. AES is staying the course regarding our education and research programs, even as we monitor the rapidly-evolving COVID-19 situation. Our commitment is to ensure that our members and the larger epilepsy community have uninterrupted access to the most current science and best clinical practices, with the ultimate goal of the best possible outcomes for epilepsy patients.

We deeply appreciate all of the AES researchers, physicians, advanced practice providers and other epilepsy professionals who are volunteering their time to plan a relevant and rigorous AES 2020 education program and to serve as faculty for the event.

We will keep you informed about our progress. In the meantime, AES is posting information about patient management during COVID-19 here.
