Accreditation
This other activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. The American Epilepsy Society (AES) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ Designation

The American Epilepsy Society designates this other educational activity (internet live and internet enduring) for a maximum of 58.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

International Credits

The American Medical Association has determined that non-U.S. licensed physicians who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Physician Assistants

AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 58.50 hours of Category 1 credit for completing this program.

Continuing Education for Nurses and Pharmacists

In support of improving patient care, this activity is planned and implemented by The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education and the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credit for learning and change.

University of Minnesota approves this knowledge-based activity for 41.5 pharmacy contact hours (4.15 CEUs) and 54 nursing contact hours (5.4 CEUs).
