CME and CE Credit Claim Information for the 2018 AES Annual Meeting
Access to CME/CE credit claim is based on your registration type for the Annual Meeting. Click here to review eligible registration types.
Refer to the program for a listing of sessions that offered CME and/or CE credit. Note: Other events not organized by AES have separate instructions for credit claim.
Attendees who registered in the following categories may claim CME or CE for the Annual Meeting: physician, health care provider, trainee, one-day, and two-day. Meeting registration includes credit claiming. Post meeting attendees will receive an email notification to access the online evaluation and credit claim system. The evaluation and claim system will remain open until February 28, 2019. Evaluations and credit claims must be completed by this date to record and receive your CME/CE certificates.
Instructions for Obtaining CME or Participation Credit
The CME and participation credit claim and session evaluation period will not be open until after the meeting. For assistance or information, please email the AES education team.
Once your claim is complete, you will be able to access certificates and transcripts from MyAES. You will need your current AES username and password to login.
Do not create a new account, as your existing record is tied to your credit.

Instructions for Obtaining CE Credit (Nurses and Pharmacists Only)
Nursing and Pharmacy credit is based on attendance as well as completion of an online evaluation form.
Nursing: AKH, Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Pharmacy: AKH, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) requires that all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians seeking CE credit have an ID number issued by NABP. Pharmacy CE providers, such as AKH, Inc. are required to submit participant completing information directly to NABP with your ID number and birth information to include month and date (not year) as a validation to this ID number. Maintenance of Certification
The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed the 72nd Annual Meeting and has approved this program as part of a comprehensive Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.
Continuing Education for Nurses and Pharmacists
Jointly provided by AKH, Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare, and the American Epilepsy Society.
Nurses: Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity is awarded 29.00 contact hours.
Pharmacists: Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Select portions of the Annual Meeting are approved for pharmacy CE credit. Specific hours of credit for approved presentations and the Universal Activity Numbers assigned to select presentations are found in the program materials. Criteria for success: credit is based on documented program attendance and online completion of a program evaluation/assessment.
