Industry CME Satellite Symposium: Patient Journeys in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex: Established and Emerging Approaches to Care
This program will provide a comprehensive overview of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), including its pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical course and manifestations, burden, and management, with a particular focus on the management of TSC-associated seizures. Using patient cases, the faculty will also address the appropriate management of the condition as it relates to patients of different ages, highlighting the continuum of care patients require as they transition from pediatric to adult health care.

This live Medtronic-sponsored symposium, led by a team of renowned Epilepsy experts, will focus on the epilepsy patient care pathway. The session will cover surgical intervention options and patient selection algorithms, as well as future directions for ANT DBS with regards to utilizing BrainSense™ technology and sensing research.
Epilepsy in the Time of COVID
The program discusses the impact of COVID on epilepsy care and its delivery. It also addresses seizures in the setting of COVID and its treatment. As through COVID epilepsy care was rapidly transformed into telehealth. Strategies for telehealth will be discussed.
